I just brought a Brother DCP-145C,it work really fine for the past 4 month.But after using it for 4 month,it is time to “Get a new ink cartridge!”.I really hate this.So,I did a small research and I found out some childish hack!Brother is using ink drop counter and laser(quite high tech) to determine the ink level.Meanwhile,it is possible to cheat a laser by just blocking it pathway and print extra 30 pages for free.Furthermore,Brother printer trust laser instead of ink drop counter!That is goooood!
This is what you need:A black marker pen.
Push down the ink cartridge and you will see a plastic which is transparent.Then use the black marker pen paint the red area (as shown)and that’s all.You can print extra 30-pages.Happy hacking and leave comment if you feel happy!
