One of my friend told me to get a flash site and I think I shouldn’t do this.But why……There must be a reason,right?

#1 Flash site are turtle

I understand that a flash site is more sexy but it took longer time to load.A visitor doesn’t enjoy a stylish flash site that load slow,they just wanted to get into content as soon as possible.A normal CMS site(WengKhin.com) will only load content that you hope to read but for a flash site,they have to load everything!A 0.9MB normal CMS site will always faster than a 30MB flash site!And what if…..YOUR VISITOR HAS A VERY SLOW CONNECTION!!

#2 Flash hate Bookmark

So,if you are using a flash website,you can’t let your visitor bookmark their favorite page.Instead they have to bookmark the whole site and search their favorite content again.That’s wasting time……

#3 Damn hard to edit

If you have tons of content in your website or blog,it is best to use a normal CMS site.Since there are WordPress,posting,editing or anything else is easier and they save your precious time.Meanwhile if you are using a flash site,you have to edit every page one by one AND design them one by one.

#4 SEO SUCKS

A spider or a bot will NEVER claw a flash site content.They will claw your site but they won’t claw your content because a spider or bot don’t like to watch those flash.They wanted to did their job fast.So,if you are using a flash site you are actually hiding yourself and stabling yourself!

Conclusion

I really don’t recommended everyone to use a flash site.Flash site is suicide.But if you really wanted to use a flash in your site,you can use it partially,recommended for (Header or Navigation) only.Don’t use them too much.They look sexy but they are evil!
