For many reasons, my dad urge me to install an Ubuntu on his laptop because of several reasons.Furthermore, my family just can’t stop loving Linux and Open Source Software. So I decided to install Ubuntu onto his laptop by using a pen drive. That would be much more faster than a CD or DVD.
Get a USB Drive aka Pen Drive

A 2GB USB Drive would be enough for Ubuntu. Make sure that you backup everything in the drive before you proceed.
Download Ubuntu and UNetbootin
Now you should download Ubuntu from Ubuntu Official Site. There are two version: 32-bit and 64-bit.So,which one should you download?
- 32-bit: Suitable for those older or newer computers.
- 64-bit: Mostly suitable for today computer.I mean 2010 new computers.
But if you wanted to play safe, you can choose 32-bit because that would be just a waste of time if you downloaded the wrong version(600MB+++ !).Both 32-bit or 64-bit computer should able to run 32-bit Ubuntu. It is proven.
Now visit UNetbootin and make sure you downloaded them.
Time to be serious
After download done. It is time to get rocks.
0.Open UNetbootin
1.Click that button.
2.Select your Ubuntu image location that you just downloaded and stored.
3.Select your desire drive.Do NOT select wrongly.Open your eyes bigger!
4.Ok that’s all.Wait for it.
Reboot your computer.Hold F12(Depend on your computer) and boot up from that USB drive.Install it as usual but it is faster and more reliable.Meanwhile, this method work on all Linux distribution.
