This is my first review post about a mobile phone. So, I apologize in advance if there was any error in this review.I’m quite bad at mobile phone.Sorry……
Nokia 5800 @ General
According to Wikipedia, Nokia 5800 official release date was on November 27, 2008.That’s approximately 2 years ago. Nokia had just release Nokia X6 to replace it but currently there are still high demand for Nokia 5800.All for one reason-great price and outstanding feature!

So, when I just hold it.I felt
Wow!It’s a amazing smartphone but it is quite fat!
This is true. Nokia 5800 are quite thick compare with X6 but pack with feature. My sister is using this and she told me that it is quite hard to keep it in her pant especially those tight pant. You will find a Media Quick Access on the top of the screen which are quite…..USELESS. I am not very sure of the location for the light sensor but I am sure for the proximate sensor. They are both located on top of the screen. You can even found some application that enable you to play on them.
It is no fun to listen to music using Nokia original headset. So,all I have to do is just plug in my noise cancelling headphone into the 3.5mm audio output jack and that’s all.Easy and fast. It is also possible to plug into speaker that offers a 3.5mm audio jack which is mostly standard for a normal computer speaker.
Nothing special about this. Nokia 5800 come with a slide lock/unlock key. Just slide your slide to unlock. But for me I prefer those in iPhone. It is easier.
Then you will find three button on the lower part of the screen. Three of them have their own function. Normally, they would be used for making call, access your menu and minimize application. Meanwhile the menu button will normally light up when you receive new SMS.

Nokia 5800 also feature a Stylus which are quite yesterday and a Carl Zeiss 3.2 MP camera with Autofocus which provide a quite acceptable photo quality.
Nokia 5800 @ Performance
Everyone like muscular car, computer and even on today’s mobile phone. You will definitely experience some lag while browsing application or multitasking. But it is quite ok for normal uses: surfing(Not very happy), youtube(great), video(great), facebook(great), music(ok) , gaming(quite ok).You won’t really enjoy multitasking on this phone.

Nokia 5800 @ Connectivity
Come with 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth 2 (Support playing music through Bluetooth headset), HSDPA and A-GPS. This phone come with Ovi Maps which offers life time free map navigation with voice. That’s cool and I believe Apple hate this. But for the GPS I am quite disappointing because it takes long time to lock your position and once in a while it had been bringing me to a wrong place when Ovi Map just release for free.
Memory @ Nokia 5800
Come with 81MB internal memory but…..they came with a 8GB MicroSD memory which are quite large for a normal portable device which can “hold up to 2000 songs or 8hr of videos!”-Steve quote. And it is even expandable to 16GB that’s huge. So,that’s all for my first review about Nokia 5800.I know my review are lousy, so please comment or write your own review.
Conclusion
Nokia 5800 is suitable for normal or daily uses and Nokia provide good update on this phone causing some phone feature aka Stylus to be declare as…..USELESS. But I like this since this prove Nokia is a responsible company even after sales.
