I love Ubuntu so much because it is reliable, sexy and safe. After using Ubuntu for 1 years plus (90% Ubuntu and 10% Windows), I am going to tell you that Ubuntu is truly better than Windows. Perhaps, I feel that Ubuntu is much more better than Windows.
This is a very old story. On 7th August 2009, I read Raymond.cc and I just found out that there was a program designed for Windows to
Kill or Disrupt Annoying Internet Connection Hogger in Your Network with netCut -Raymond.cc
and I am shock about his discover. It is just a simple program that would actually cut off your internet connection in the Wifi or LAN whenever they want even without warning or notice from Anti-Virus program. This is definitely a kind of attack. And after this you would probably just walk away from the WiFi hot spot and cry.
For many reasons, my dad urge me to install an Ubuntu on his laptop because of several reasons.Furthermore, my family just can’t stop loving Linux and Open Source Software.So I decided to install Ubuntu onto his laptop by using a pen drive.That would be much more faster than a CD or DVD.
I know that I’m some kind of out of date.Sorry for that and please don’t blame me because I am quite busy around this month preparing for my deadly exam.On 29 April 2010,Ubuntu 10.04 LTS which carry a codename of “Lucid Lynx” had officially launch.This is a big day for those Windows or Mac hater.I admit that I am one of them.But that’s fine,at least Ubuntu did a great job.Ubuntu is Linux,and Linux is Ubuntu.They are related to each other.Some of you might say:”Linux Sucks!”
This is all the open source software which commonly used by you,me and the internet.They are all free and cross-platform available either on Windows,Mac or even a Mac.So,you have no reasons not to try them because some of them are really great. (more…)
